Case Study
Amplio is a project to improve the quality of music access for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people. Their app lets users see every note on every instrument, hear sounds designed for hearing aids and cochlear implants, and feel powerful vibrations with songs customizable to their hearing range.
We serve as Amplio's technical partner, deeply involved in product strategy and technical direction. What started as a cross-platform desktop app for Mac and Windows is now expanding to mobile, with an iOS and Android release planned for early Q2 2026. We selected Kotlin Multiplatform for shared logic and designed the real-time synchronisation engine, shaping both the architecture and the product roadmap.
